Huge, probably 12 foot diameter pipe the goes through the mountain to Lake Almanor.  Water then travels to North end of Butt Valley Reservoir.  A power plant generates electricity.  Water then travels through Butt Valley Reservoir, drops down Caribou Canyon to another power plant, the across Caribou Canyon through a giant siphon and ultimately to the Beldon Power Plant
