You are greeted by the sacred Fajad Butte when you enter the park after a long and bumpy dirt road.

Hiking to Casa Bonita great house

Denise, Ward and Lee Ann at Chaco Canyon New Mexico.
Casa Bonita, largest and most beautiful. Had and estimated 650 rooms and and 5 stories high. There were 7 – 8 big houses in this canyon.

Arches Canyon and Ruins near Blanding Utah

Lyle and Denise at Arches Canyon Ruins.
There were pottery shards in this area that were still lying on the ground. They resembles some of the beautiful pieces found in Chaco Canyon.

Mark, Terrie, Ward, Lee Ann, Denise and Lyle in Arches Canyon. We ended up crossing the stream in this canyon over 50 times. There had recently been a flash flood thru this area.
